WHAT’S NEW IN 2016

Now in its fifth year, the Doc Corner is extending and moving up to the Riviera (booth n°H8)It will include a new integrated 21-seat Market screening room entirely dedicated to documentary films, for sales agents or producers to present their films right on the spot.

Simultaneously, the Doc Corner is very proud to inaugurate a two-year partnership with the Ford Foundation’s JustFilms program in a shared commitment to support advocacy filmmakers in raising global awareness on social justice issues, and help their works make a difference and challenge inequality.

To this end, the Doc Corner is organizing the first-ever Doc Day  in Cannes on Tuesday May 17th, with a full afternoon of discussions and presentations by captivating filmmakers and top-ranked industry professionals.

Right after, the Doc Lovers Mixer will joyfully close the day at the Plage des Palmes from 6 to 8 pm, welcoming the entire documentary film community for an unmissable networking cocktail.

We hope you can save the date and join us for this unprecedented Doc Day in Cannes!
