Industry Programs

Cannes Animation is a dedicated program designed to spotlight the creativity, innovation, and global momentum of today’s animation industry — further establishing Cannes as a key meeting point for the international animation community.

To celebrate the ingenuity and diversity of animation, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival — widely recognized as the world’s leading reference for animated film — partnered with the Marché du Film in 2019 to introduce a curated animation program in Cannes.

Each year, Annecy presents the highly anticipated Annecy Animation Showcase, highlighting five standout animated works-in-progress in post-production. The session offers creators a valuable platform to connect with potential sales agents, distributors, and festival programmers.

Beyond the showcase, Cannes Animation features a dynamic program of talks, panel discussions, and networking events, bringing together professionals from across the global animation landscape to exchange ideas, spark new collaborations, and explore the evolving boundaries of the art form.
