Insumisa Films Sl emerges in Barcelona with a clear mission: to be a reference in fresh narratives born from experiences, tales, anecdotes, memories, intimate diaries, and personal novels. We are inspired by real and unique stories, enhanced with artistic elements that make them more poetic while preserving the authenticity that personal experience and life itself provide. Our own migrant essence drives us toward cultural unity — we aim to create and co-create transatlantic cinema. So far, we have co-produced The Fable of the Tortoise and the Flower (2025) alongside the Uruguayan company Monarca Films and Criollos (2025) with the Argentine DIM Films, both completed. Additionally, we have other projects in post-production, pre-production, and development, such as La Curva; Impromptu OP 2, selected at the Lau Haizetara Forum at SSIFF 2024; and Uncomfortable Body, selected at Hot Docs Deal Maker 2025.
