Synopsis: 

After some weeks members of the queer scene in Medellín in Colombia were cast for a vampire movie, the film’s protagonist -Camilo Najar – dies of a heroin overdose at age 21. As the youth in Colombia grapple with suicide and drug overdoses, Anhell69 tries to explore this generation’s “nonfuture” mindset.

Director’s profile: 

Theo Montoya, Colombia Medellín. Founder and director of the production company DESVIO VISUAL. Producer house designed for the creation of experimental films and author documentaries. In 2018, he won the Cinematographic Development Fund of Colombia (FDC) with his short film documentary: SON OF SODOM (Cannes 2020, official selection). His first feature film, Anhell69 (co-production Colombia, Romania, Argentina), attended the Torino film Lab documentary this year, Sanfic in Santiago de Chile, Fidba in Argentina and Ventana Sur. This year Anhell69 won The Tribeca All access fund and IBF Europe co-production.
