Synopsis:

Based on a true story, Elisa Girotto’s is a very strong love story. Of a love that has the strength not to give up when everything around her collapses. Elisa was only forty years old when pregnant, an incurable disease took her away from the affection of her loved ones, her partner and her family. Before her heart stopped, Elisa found a way to project herself in time and stay close to that little girl she so desired: buying her a gift for each birthday until she comes of age of 18.

Francesco Amato, born on September 11, 1978, in Turin, Italy, is an accomplished Italian director and screenwriter. He is knows for Cosimo e Nicole (2012), starring Riccardo Scamarcio and Clara Ponsot, Lasciati andare, featuring Toni Servillo, and 18 presents with Vittoria Puccini. Amato has directed television series, including Imma Tataranni – Sostituto procuratore, Filumena Marturano, Santocielo, starring Ficarra And Picone

Producer’s biography:

Andrea Occhipinti, former Italian actor, he is a film distributor and producer. He gained recognition in the 1980s for roles in films like The New York Ripper and A Blade in the Dark. Later, he transitioned to producing and founded Lucky Red, a major independent distribution company. Occhipinti has played a key role in bringing international and auteur cinema to Italy, establishing himself as a significant figure in the European film industry.
