Industry Programs

Cannes Animation is a celebration of the art and creativity of animation, providing a unique platform for animation film professionals and enthusiasts to gather, meet and connect!

As animation continues to grow across cinema screens and streaming platforms worldwide, new audiences and markets are discovering its versatility and storytelling. To showcase the genre’s ingenuity and diversity, Annecy International Film Festival — the world’s top reference for animation films — partnered with the Marché du Film in 2019 to bring a curated animation program to Cannes.

Each year, Annecy presents the highly anticipated Annecy Animation Showcase, featuring five standout animated works-in-progress in post-production and connecting their creators with potential sales agents, distributors, and festival programmers.

Beyond the showcase, Cannes Animation also features talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that bring together the global animation community, sparking dialogue, new partnerships, and fresh perspectives on the evolving art of animation.
