This year marks the 39th edition of Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF), the only Japanese film festival accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF). TIFF, which includes a feature-length film competition at its core, is also one of the leading film festivals in Asia and attaches importance to discovering and cultivating new film directors as well as presenting internationally acclaimed titles.
