The Marché du Film and CTA Announce Prestigious New CES Innovation Award®

The Marché du Film of the Festival de Cannes, the world's largest film market and organizer of Cannes Next, the leading innovation program for the film industry, The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the owner and producer of CES, the most powerful tech event in the world, are proud to announce the creation of a prestigious new CES Innovation Award category: "Filmmaking & Distribution –in partnership with Cannes Next"

This groundbreaking award will celebrate companies, startups, entrepreneurs and filmmakers developing transformative technologies that empower creative talent and industry professionals across filmmaking, production, and distribution. Eligible innovations include advanced solutions for film producers, sales agents, distributors, financiers, cutting-edge generative AI technologies for screenwriting, video production, voice synthesis and state-of-the-art pre- and post-production tools (audio/video software and equipment, virtual production, VFX), as well as next generation streaming and distribution platforms. These solutions enhance artistic expression and unlock new business opportunities for the film industry.

An esteemed jury, carefully selected by the Marché du Film and CTA, will identify and honor the most innovative and impactful solutions, elevating this award to become the premier global accolade recognizing excellence in filmmaking and distribution technology.
