Meet the Streamers returns to Cannes for 4th edition with Netflix France, Prime Video France and more!

The Marché du Film’s industry program dedicated to streaming platforms, strategy and innovation from all around the world returns with an exciting lineup for its 4th edition!

Over 2 days (22-23 May), film producers and streaming service reps will take the stage and share what’s trending in the streaming world, discuss how today’s service platforms are looking at content, and how streamers are reshaping the industry.

This year’s special highlight will be the opening panel Producing Films with Streaming Services: Case Study Analysis with Netflix France & Prime Video France ⁠Panel, which explores how streaming services have increased their role in the filmmaking process in recent years and how things have worked for them through a discussion presenting concrete projects. Guest speakers include: Thomas Dubois (Head of French Originals, Amazon Studios), Sara May (Director of Content Acquisitions, Netflix France), Marine Forde (Director of Cinema Production, Gaumont) and film producers Florence Gastaud and Julien Madon.

Meet the Streamers will also feature the conference panel, What Are the Trends in the Feature Film Industry?, as well as an online-only keynote session, How to Work with the Streaming Platforms, presented by Stage 32, the largest online platform connecting & educating over 750,000 film, TV and new media creatives worldwide.

An exclusive Cannes Docs x Meet the Streamers workshop will welcome Hanka Kastelicová (VP & Executive Producer, Documentaries, HBO Max ⁠EMEA) who will guide audiences through the commissioning and producing philosophy for Max Original documentaries and docuseries, including case studies on recent successes. She will also discuss how HBO Max works with producers, what she is looking for and give an insight into her recent work.
