🎆 Goes to Cannes Expands with 7 New Showcases and 10K€ MG Prize

Seven film festivals and markets will showcase their selection of works-in-progress from the 16th to the 20th of May at the Marché du Film. For the first time this year, one of the selected film projects will receive the Goes to Cannes Award and a 10,000€ MG prize, offered by Sideral Cinema.

Every year, the Marché du Film offers film festivals & markets the opportunity to host their own exclusive showcase in Cannes. This unique platform allows the most creative and vibrant talents to pitch their projects to potential sales agents, distributors and festival programmers.

Each showcase features films in various stages of post-production, teeming with diversity, new cinematic expressions and cultural nuances from different regions worldwide.

Goes to Cannes also serves as a promotional platform for festivals and markets to highlight their events and year-round activities, allowing Marché participants a unique opportunity to discover different film events from around the world in one convenient setting.

For the first time, this year’s edition will introduce the Goes to Cannes Award, which will be presented and offered by Sideral Cinema. This Spanish film studio, specializing in the sales and distribution of international independent films, will offer one project an MG (minimum guarantee) of €10,000. The award recipient will be announced on Monday, 20 May during the Goes to Cannes Lunch for the partnering festivals and selection participants.
