🔥 Frontières: Fantasia Film Festival & Marché du Film Announce 2023 Selection
Frontières Platform, the genre-focused event co-organized by Fantasia Film Festival and the Marché du Film, reveals its 2023 selection to be presented in Cannes from 20-21 May.
Once again, Frontières is delighted to present a new lineup of horror, science-fiction, comedy, and avant-garde storytelling from emerging talents in today’s genre film industry. Bringing to life vengeful ghosts, romantic folk horror, AI lifeforms, deadly monasteries and alternate realities, this year’s lineup is bustling with creativity among 14 genre film projects!
7 projects in advanced stages of financing will be presented in the Proof of Concept pitching session (20 May), in front of prospective financiers, sales agents and distributors, while 7 works-in-progress will be presented in the Buyers Showcase (21 May) in front of international distributors, festival programmers and sales agents.
Both pitching session events will be held at the Marché du Film in Cannes (and available for view on the Marché du Film Online platform).
