From 14 to 19 May, the Docs-in-Progress showcases return to Cannes Docs at the Marché du Film, offering industry professionals an exclusive opportunity to discover a new wave of documentary projects from around the world.
Cannes Docs will host eight curated showcases, each presenting four “docs-in-progress” in their final stages of post-production. Each project will be introduced through a pitch and a 10-minute excerpt of the rough cut by the creative team, seeking post-production support, gap financing, strategic guidance, and/or potential co-production opportunities.
Designed for documentary professionals, festival programmers and sales agents, these showcases spotlight bold new voices and offer a dynamic platform to discover fresh titles and forge meaningful industry connections.

The whole program culminates with an Award Ceremony on Doc Day (19 May) — a very special, all-day-long celebration of the craft of documentary filmmaking in Cannes.
The Docs-in-Progress selection, jury members and award sponsors will be announced in April.
