Le Ballon Rouge

Offering childcare and family-friendly services for market & festival attendees!

Organized by the Marché du Film & The Red Balloon Alliance, Le Ballon Rouge aims to promote a healthier and more supportive work-life balance for those working in the industry and has been offering childcare services during the Festival de Cannes and other major film festivals since 2019.

Each year, Le Ballon Rouge returns to Cannes to offer the following family-friendly services:

  • A fully-supervised daycare center in the near vicinity of the market and providing fun activities for the kids
  • A convenient baby lounge inside the Palais des Festivals for our tiniest visitors
  • Easier and less invasive access for children and their caregivers/nannies entering Festival grounds
  • FREE badges for the children and their caregivers

Ages & Hours

The daycare center is available for children aged 6 months – 12 years from 10am-6pm and for a maximum of 6 hours at a time for each child. (Note: Meals and snacks must be provided by parents.)

Service Fees

As a result of the generous support of our partners, the daycare fees have been kept as low as possible: 60€ (3 days), 100€ (4-6 days) and 130€ (7-10 days). (Subject to change in 2024)

Baby Lounge

A convenient baby lounge inside the Palais des Festivals (Level 0, Mediterranean Hall) is available from from 9h-18h30.

Thank you to our partners!
