Organized by the Marché du Film, INCAA (Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisualesand) and ACAU (Agencia del Cine y el Audiovisual del Uruguay), Ventana Sur brings together the different players in the audiovisual industry to promote the co-production, financing and international distribution of Latin American content.

The 2026 edition of Ventana Sur will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Every year, the event welcomes +2,500 accredited participants, including 200 buyers and sellers from all five continents, as well as representatives from the most important networks and international platforms. Attendees actively engage with content producers through business conferences, pitching sessions, and one-on-one meetings. Additionally, the event offers access to tailor-made initiatives for producers with projects in development, workshops, roundtables and conferences that explore current trends with an eye on the future.
