The Selection Committee is set to play a pivotal role in Investors Circle, carefully identifying the most ambitious feature film projects to be showcased during the exclusive, invitation-only pitching session at the Plage des Palmes.

With a strong focus on large-scale cinematic projects with substantial budgets, this panel of experts conducts a rigorous selection process to ensure that these works are presented to leading international investors. Selected for their potential to captivate both audiences and investors, these projects represent bold creative visions and high international appeal.

MEET THE 2026 SELECTION COMMITTEE

Jean des Forêts

Born in Paris in 1976, Jean des Forêts created Petit Film in 2010. With an ideal pace of production of one film per year, Petit Film aspires to longevity before growth. Driven by intuition, unfettered by questions of genre or budget, the company is building a limited but eclectic and palpable catalog of films for the cinema. Jean is an elected member of Unifrance Producers Commission and is EAVE network’s National Coordinator for France.

Céline Dornier

Céline began in international sales in Hong Kong and Vancouver. In 2016 she joined Logical Pictures, working on Revenge, later managing production, acquisitions and financing for films like The Innocents and Pleasure. Appointed Head of Investments in 2021, she coproduced Tchaikovsky’s Wife. VP Finance & Acquisitions in 2023, she joined IPR.VC in 2025.

Alice Laffillé

Alice Laffillé is the Vice President of International Sales at FilmNation Entertainment where she focuses on curating the company’s sales slate and managing the sales process for a myriad of projects that expand across the company’s finance, production, and sales capabilities. Recent FilmNation sales titles that are part of the festival last year include Alpha from Julia Ducournau and La Ola from Sebastian Lelio.

Anthony Muir 

Anthony is the Senior Executive for International Co-Productions at Film i Väst. Since 2009 he has helped provide co-production finance to more than 200 feature films. Some recent films supported include: About Dry Grasses by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, R.M.N. by Crsitian Mungiu, The Apprentice by Ali Abbasi, and The Testament of Ann Lee by Mona Fastvold.
