Director’s biography:

David Victori is a film and television director, producer and screenwriter. In 2015 he directed the first original YouTube series, “ZERO” (2015), produced by Ridley Scott and Michael Fassbender. With his second film, “CROSS THE LINE” (2020), he obtained several nominations at the Goya Awards. Mario Casas was the winner of the best actor award for his role in this film.

Synopsis:

Gianluca Ansanelli, born in Naples in 1974, is an actor, director, writer, and screenwriter. Ansanelli’s notable works include  » From Naples with Love », « Welcome at Esposito’s » and his short film « Autovelox », presented at Giffoni Film Festival. Additionally, his works as a screenwriter include « With all my heart » by Vincenzo Salemme, « Chi ha incastrato Babbo Natale? » by Alessandro Siani, « The boat » by Alessio Liguori, and « The last joint » by Giampaolo Morelli. « The War of the Grandpas » is his fourth feature film.

Producer’s biography;

Marco Belardi is the producer behind several successful Italian films by directors such as Paolo Genovese, Paolo Virzì, and Gabriele Muccino, including Perfect Strangers (2016), Tutta colpa di Freud (2014), The Place (2017), Superheroes (2021), The first day of my life (2022), Like Crazy (2016), Notti Magiche (2018), There is no place like home (2018) and The Best Years (2020). In December 2021, Marco Belardi launched GreenBoo Production, which, despite its recent foundation, has already produced several films and has numerous ambitious projects in development.

Giuseppe G. Stasi (director and screenwriter) and Giancarlo Fontana (director and editor) began their career in 2011, creating satirical viral web videos and contents for tv shows. Their first film, Metti la Nonna in Freezer (2018), was a hit comedy, ranking top 10 in box office. In 2019, they directed Bentornato Presidente. In 2022, they made their debut TV series, The Bad Guy, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, airing in 240 countries.

Nicola Giuliano, Francesca Cima, and Carlotta Calori are independent Italian producers who co-founded Indigo Film in 1994. Notably, they earned Oscars, BAFTAs, and Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film for The Great Beauty (2013) by P. Sorrentino. Their achievements include David di Donatello wins for The Girl by the Lake (2007). Additionally, Il Divo (2008) won the Jury prize and Prix Vulcain at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2015, they received the EFA Young Audience Award for The Invisible Boy, and Youth (2015) won the EFA for Best European Film.

She made her directorial debut in 2024 presenting her film Gloria! in Official Competition at the Berlinale.
