Director’s biography:

Caroline Vignal is a french filmmaker who grew up all around Europe. At 18 years old she starts university at La Sorbonne but spends all of her time at the movie theater. She ends up studying at La Femis a few years later and shoots 2 short films and her first movie Les autres filles (Semaine de la Critique 2000). She goes on writing books and theatre plays. In 2020 she reverts to her first love and shoots My love, my donkey and I (Cannes 2020 label).

Producer’s biography:

Laetitia Galitzine has produced alone, or in co-production, about 15 feature films since 2010. Faithful to her directors, she turned towards the public their first or second films which are mainly auteur comedies. (My donkey, my lover and I – a UK remake is to be directed by Toni Colette in 2026 or Love at second sight – a Japanese remake has been released in 2025).

Aurélie Trouvé-Rouvière worked for 13 years at France 3 Cinéma, she started as a financial assistant and ended up deputy director of the subsidiary of France Télévisions. In 2019 she finally decided to take the ultimate leap of faith – she founded La Filmerie and quickly produced Caroline Vignal’s latest movies. Several films are in development, including Une joie féroce by Cécilia Rouaud and Les cigognes by Fanny Chesnel.

Julien Colonna is a screenwriter, director and photographer. He directed a number of shorts. One of these, Confession, was screened at more than twenty festivals, receiving numerous awards. Julien directed several films across the world in collaboration with a variety of international talent, including Hugh Jackman, C.J. Hendry, Luo Yang. His feature film Le Royaume written with Jeanne Herry and produced by Chi-Fou-Mi Productions will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, 2024, in Un Certain Regard.

Producer’s biography:

After collaborating with Marc Missonnier and Dimitri Rassam, Antoine Lafon joined Chi-Fou-Mi in 2021. In 2024 he produced Le Royaume alongside Hugo Selginac. Selected at Un Certain Regard at the Festival de Cannes, the film was a critical and public success. Antoine Lafon is currently producing Nadav Lapid’s upcoming film Yes alongside Judith Lou Levy.
