Tilde is driving through a lonely Sweden with her husband Floyd and their 4-month-old son Joel. They are on their way to a remote guest house to see Tilde’s biological mother, Eva. She runs the guest house together with her grown-up son Tord, who suffers from delusions after long-lasting psychosis. Neither Eva nor Tord knows who Tilde is, and their encounter leads to a catastrophe.
