Synopsis:

Luca and Sara, a couple in their early forties, are forced to stay at home and deal with living together 24 hours a day due to the Covid lockdown. Luca is a teacher in crisis and is having a hard time with the fact that Sara is richer than him. Frustrations and dissatisfaction give way to a morbid interest that the man develops towards his new neighbor, Amanda. He spies on her and becomes a spectator of her life, but when his desire for her becomes an obsession, Luca decides to get closer. The consequences will be disastrous.

Director’s biography:

Born in Bra in 1972, Stefano Sardo is an Italian screenwriter. He co-created and showran the SKY series 1992–1994 and wrote the Italian In Treatment adaptation. His film credits include The Double Hour, The Invisible Boy and its sequel, and The Divine Ponytail. He contributed to films like Tatanka and series such as Il tredicesimo apostolo and Il Sistema, and served as head writer on Nemesis (Netflix), The Lions of Sicily (Disney+), and The Art of Joy (SKY). As a director, he made Slow Food Story (2013), debuted with With or Without You (2021), and released Close To Me (2025), sold in 20+ countries.
