🧱 Cannes Next, ATM Virtual & Aggressive to Present MURALS, a New Immersive Experience in Cannes
Cannes Next, ATM Virtual and Aggressive are proud to present the world premiere of « MURALS » at the Palais des Festivals’ MURALS Immersive Studio from 19 to 24 May 2023.
« MURALS » is an immersive and breathtaking 180-degree visual experience that uses cutting-edge 3D scanning technology to transport and place viewers face-to-face with the war devastation in Ukraine. The not-for-profit art project is based on the scans of the artworks created by globally acclaimed street artist Banksy in various locations in Ukraine in the summer of 2002.
Through cutting-edge technology, sound, and image, MURALS transports the viewer to war-torn Ukraine to experience Banksy’s artwork left on the rubble of people’s homes, schools, and infrastructure. Irpin, Hostomel, Horenka, Maidan… experience Banksy in Ukraine, as seen through the eyes of the people in conflict.

“An audacious war of conquest is being waged in the heart of Europe, a criminal military force has invaded a sovereign nation and is systematically destroying its people, cities, and culture. This project is our letter to today’s generation of Ukrainians, to our friends and colleagues, to the people whose bombed-out houses we scanned for this project, and to the heroes who are in the trenches at this very moment – we will remember everything, we will not stay quiet.”
