Animate your day in Cannes!

Launched in 2019 in partnership with the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Animation Day quickly became an important program for the global animation filmmaking community in Cannes. The program featuring talks, panel discussions, animation screenings and networking events has now been expanded to span several days during the 2021 Marché du Film.

The upcoming Animation Days will include a program of conferences, one-to-one meetings and country focused presentations to bring together the very best of international creativity and the major players involved in the distribution and production of animated films.

Animation film experts and enthusiasts will gather to discuss, learn more about and predict the future of this rapidly rising genre.

On the agenda: a presentation of titles in various stages of development looking for sales agents, distributors or festival exposure, one-to-one meetings focused on projects in production and panels hosted by industry professionals.



Animation Works-in-Progress | Russia ROSKINO is a state body representing the Russian industry of audiovisual content on the international markets, a national operator for the promotion of films, series and animation as well as the coproduction opportunities within Russia. The company also organizes tailor-made educational programs for Russian talents. ROSKINO promotes Russian content at the key international markets.

Animation Works-in-Progress | Chile This year, Chilean Animation comes to Cannes with an unprecedented number of films. On this occasion, our filmmakers explore a wide array of subjects and techniques. From the revision of our political past to heartwarming tales of friends, family, and hope. Chile's presence at Cannes is organized by Chiledoc and Animachi, financed by ProChile and the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage.
