The Immersive Market Returns to Cannes and Opens the Call for Curators Network 2026

The Curators Network returns for its second edition in 2026, inviting curators, producers, and immersive creators to join one of two tracks of a unique three-day program, dedicated to expanding the distribution of immersive location-based works worldwide.

Following the success of the inaugural Immersive Market in 2025, the Marché du Film is opening applications for participants eager to explore location-based experiences and spatial computing innovations.

NEW THIS YEAR: Immersive Demos enter the Curators Network!

Each morning, between 1-on-1 meetings, catalogue holders will be able to present their works to a selected group of curators — showcased in premium, festival-grade conditions. In our brand-new 450 m² immersive space at the Carlton Hotel, video projections and XR works of all scales will not just be pitched, they will be experienced firsthand. This breakthrough initiative will elevate discovery, sharpen decision-making, and empower curators with deeper insights into the next wave of immersive art.

Looking Back at 2025

The first edition of the Immersive Market brought together leading curators, programmers, distributors, investors, and financiers at the prestigious Art Explora boat.

Over several days of pitching sessions, workshops, demos, and exclusive networking events, participants discovered cutting-edge immersive works and forged meaningful collaborations.

Highlights included one-on-one meetings with curators from world-class museums and entertainment venues, as well as presentations of interactive installations, VR, MR, video projections, and binaural 3D audio projects designed for location-based distribution.
